At Krinova’s extraordinary general meeting on 22 May, Jonas Haak was appointed new board chair of Krinova AB. Jonas Haak is taking over this role after Pia Kinhult stepped down.
“I feel great humility and inspiration as I become part of an organisation considered one of Sweden’s most innovative science parks and incubators. Krinova has enjoyed fantastic development in recent years, and I look forward to being able to help ensure this journey continues far into the future. Krinova creates very great value by helping companies, organisations and individuals develop their innovative and competitive capabilities,” says Jonas Haak, Board Chair of Krinova.
Jonas Haak has served as CEO of Kristianstad Österlen Airport for the past seven years and before that held senior positions in the pharmaceutical industry for about 20 years. He is also board chair of Högskolan Kristianstad Holding Invest AB and has previously held several other board assignments, including member of the Krinova Board from 2013 to 2017.
“It is with the Innovation Arena, the Food-Environment-Health profile area and the Meeting Point that Krinova links together the business sector, the public sector, academia and our geographic location. I hope to be able to help broaden and deepen this base even more by applying my experience from work in the public sector, the university positions I have held, my many business contacts, and my great passion for our region,” says Jonas.
