Project MESI – Migrant Entrepreneurship for Social Inclusion

How can innovation-supporting organisations provide better support to migrant entrepreneurs? This is the task for project MESI (Migrant Entrepreneurship for Social Inclusion), a two-year project that started with a kick-off meeting at Krinova in October 2018.

MESI is a joint project with partners from business- and innovation supporting organisations in Italy, Germany, Cyprus, Denmark and Sweden sharing their knowledge and experience in developing a training material specially adapted to the needs and challenges of newly arrived migrant entrepreneurs.

The training material and an e-course will be specifically designed with aim to tackle the educational and training needs of migrants by equipping adult education professionals, trainers and professionals working with migrants with the tools needed for engaging migrants in entrepreneurial initiatives.

This training material will be a tool to help business developers, innovation supporting organisations and other organisations to support entrepreneurial activities and increase participation of migrants in educational programmes.

By participating in educational programmes for better knowledge about entrepreneurship, migrant entrepreneurs will have better conditions to start a future business.
